Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. Amy Smart was brought up in California, America. She began the modeling profession in Italy. Her first acting role was in the 1996 TV movie Her Costly Affair. After a very difficult struggle her way to a role, she got a chance as "Starship Troopers" the film Starship Troopers. It was at first was hard for Amy to transition from modeling to acting. It's because the majority of models aren't great actors. They are typically assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy was determined to succeed and was eventually offered larger parts beginning with The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. The romantic comedy Just Friends, which also included Ryan Reynolds, saw her play more prominent role. Amy was finally recognized for the role she had been chasing more than a decade. She did some big films in the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character on The Shameless series.
